Privacy Policy

Data We Do Not Collect

Thalen has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Location data

Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is created and stored locally on your iPhone. It never leaves your device.

• Cognitive test results — reaction times, accuracy scores, and computed performance metrics from each session
• Supplement logs — which compounds you took, doses, and timing relative to your test session
• Baseline statistics — running averages and trend data derived from your sessions
• Coaching insights — personalized observations and recommendations generated on-device from your data
• App preferences — your selected compound stack and other settings

Apple HealthKit

With your permission, Thalen reads the following from Apple Health:

• Sleep duration (last 24 hours)
• Resting heart rate (last 24 hours)
• Heart rate variability / HRV (last 24 hours)
• Recent workouts (last 2 hours)

This data is used solely to provide context for your cognitive performance scores — for example, showing how last night's sleep correlates with your alertness today. Thalen never writes any data to Apple Health, and HealthKit data is never transmitted off your device.

Third-Party Services

None. Thalen uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, ad networks, or tracking tools of any kind.

Your Health Data Rights

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data. This clears every session, supplement log, baseline, and preference stored on your device. Uninstalling the app removes everything as well. There is no server-side data to request deletion of — we don't have any.

Children's Privacy

Thalen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely.
