New: Achievements, Personal Bests, and Redesigned Supplements
Streaks work. Duolingo's data shows users with 7+ day streaks are 2.3x more likely to return daily. But most gamification systems optimize for engagement metrics, not user outcomes.
We built ours differently.
The Scientist's Balance
Our 12 launch badges follow a 40/40/20 split:
- 40% Consistency (The Catalyst, The Professional, Time Keeper, The Stoic, The Comeback)
- 40% Discovery (The Contextualizer, The Explorer, Quantified Self, Calibrated, Bio-Rhythm)
- 20% Performance (Flow State, Rank Milestone)
Most apps reward showing up. We reward learning something.
The Explorer badge requires logging 5 different context tags in a month. The Contextualizer needs 10 consecutive sessions with wellness data. These push you toward the behaviors that generate insights, not just the ones that pad your streak count.
Personal Bests That Prove Themselves
Hit a new reaction time record? Great. But was it a fluke?
Our personal bests require a 3-day proving phase. Beat your previous best, then match or exceed that performance two more times within 72 hours. Only then does it lock in.
The status flow: Detected → Stabilizing → Confirmed.
Lucky days happen. Confirmed records don't lie.
Streak Protection
Life happens. We handle it two ways:
Streak Freezes: Earn 1 freeze per 7 active testing days. Bank up to 3. Miss a day? A freeze auto-deploys.
Sick Days: 2 free per rolling 30 days. These exclude your data from baseline calculations. Sick performance shouldn't drag down your normal.
The difference matters. A freeze saves your streak. A sick day saves your data integrity.
Supplements: One Screen, Full Context
The old supplements view scattered information across three sections. Impact data here. Your stack there. Dose history somewhere else.
The new unified grid shows everything per-ingredient:
- Impact score with confidence level
- Your dosage and schedule
- Session data (on/off counts)
- Quick actions (log dose, pause, view history)
Card view for scanning. List view for details. Filter by status or confidence. Search by name.
The three-dot menu now includes inline dose logging with success feedback. Delete requires confirmation. Small friction for destructive actions, zero friction for daily logging.
Why This Matters
Research from Forrester shows apps combining streaks and milestones reduce 30-day churn by 35%. But Stanford found 73% of gamification systems fail because they reward activity instead of outcomes.
We're betting on the other 27%.
Build your streak. Earn your badges. Prove your bests. Track your stack. The data compounds.
These features are live now. Your existing sessions already count toward badge progress.
